COVID-19 Protocol

Cardinal Animal’s COVID-19 Protocol

Good morning friends of Cardinal Animal Hospital! We are open and ready for business, but we are implementing a few changes to help protect our staff and clients.

Until further notice, we are not accepting surgical appointments for routine spays, neuters, and dental cleaning. This decision was made based on a recommendation by the American Veterinary Medical Association in an effort to help conserve supplies/personal protective equipment. We also ask that you reschedule your appointment if you are feeling unwell and/or are exhibiting any respiratory symptoms. For the safety of the public and our staff, we are implementing a new social distancing protocol. Once you have arrived, please call us to let us know that you are here. Please let us know the type and color of your vehicle and the best phone number for us to reach you. We will have a staff member come out to your vehicle to bring your pet inside the building. Once your pet has been examined by the doctor, the doctor with then call you or come out to your car to discuss her findings and answer any questions or concerns you may have. After the examination and any other procedures are complete, we will call you to take payment over the phone and we will bring your pet and any medications back to your vehicle. Please be patient with us as we maneuver through this difficult time.  We look forward to seeing you and your pet soon!

Please know that these guidelines are subject to change depending on the information that we are given. Please call us at (336) 668-9475 with any questions.
