The FDA has released the brands that have been associated with diet related DCM (dilated cardiomyopathy) that can lead to heart failure. None of the brands that we recommend were seen to cause issues (Hills, Royal canin, Purina). Most of the brands causing issues are known as “boutique/specialty foods” that **advertise** as being high quality.
